As a Northern Virginia native, Tanya graduated from Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke and completed a Bachelors of Arts in Government & Politics from George Mason University. She lives in the area with her husband, 2 daughters and 2 dogs. She loves spending most of her time chasing her girls around gymnastic meets and horse shows! While passionate about many things - wine, coffee, travel and puzzling...

Her true passion found later in life, is recreational running. Running shoes and the open road are her therapy and helps her remember life isn’t always perfect, but it is made up of perfect moments.
