I helped my parents sell their house last summer. Unfortunately, we went through a highly unprofessional experience with one firm; their house was not sold, hopes were dashed, and trust was breached. In our search for a new real estate agent, Tanya came highly recommended. Although our nerves were frayed, we decided to place our trust in Tanya and relist. I would exchange early morning or late night texts and phone calls with her. She would always find the time to speak with me, regardless of our three hour time difference. As we were across the country and the house was unoccupied, Tanya thoughtfully checked-in on the house before the open house, and would check-in on the house after showings to make sure everything was in order. After our first contract fell through, she immediately hosted a second open house. She arranged to meet with the buyer’s inspectors and appraiser on our behalf. Her actions and attention to detail throughout the whole process helped put our minds at ease. Tanya being a professional and working hard would have been enough to make us happy. What meant the most to us, however, were Tanya’s care, her kindness, her ability to connect with us, and her steadfast commitment to do right. 2020 was such a difficult year for so many people. There has been such ugliness and turmoil; I can get cynical and forget there is good in the world. But, very simply, Tanya is a good person. And that matters.
